Fluorescence in situ Hybridization (FISH) Technology

Fluorescence in situ Hybridization (FISH) can be used to detect and localize the presence or absence of specific DNA sequences on chromosomes. FISH plays an increasingly important role in a variety of research areas; including cytogenetics, prenatal diagnosis, tumour biology, gene amplification & gene mapping. Efficient & effective understanding of the concepts & theories of FISH technology is a must for successful test results.
