Since last 25 years the DSS group has been engaged in the production of world class optical microscopes for education, clinical laboratories and industry. The manufacturing activity moved to new, state-of-the art 40,000 sq.ft. facility in NOIDA in 2007. Equipped with all the latest machinery and technology this manufacturing facility is capable of producing world class microscopes, optics & optical assemblies. The manufacturing facility holds an ISO 9001:2000 certification from TUV.

Under the Olympus India brand name a technology transfer agreement with Olympus, Japan in the year 2000 resulted in the production of the CH20i model which has become a gold-standard in routine pathology labs throughout India. Along with this was born the Magnus brand of microscopes which have now become the preferred choice for a number of World Bank funded projects. Since 1995, more than 15,000 Magnus microscopes have been supplied to important World Bank public health programs. Magnus microscopes are now also exported to over 15 countries around the world.

A group of highly qualified and experienced engineering personnel work closely with a highly motivated workforce in providing products and services of international quality. Supported by this excellent infrastructure, the Product Development Group at DSS looks forward to OEM partnerships with companies wanting to develop products which require expertise in optical and precision engineering.
