Clinical Diagnostics

The Clinical Diagnostics Division (erstwhile Life Sciences Division) was conceptualized in 2003 as a life science research and diagnostics solutions arm for DSS Imagetech Pvt. Ltd. Today with Abbott Molecular & Dako (Agilent Pathology Solutions) at its forefront, the Clinical Diagnostics Division primarily focusses on clinical diagnostics and is among the leaders in the Molecular Diagnostics market in India.

The Division provides solutions for cancer diagnosis and pre & post-natal genetic aberration diagnosis as well as diagnosis of infectious diseases like HIV, HBV, HCV, CMV, CT/NG, Sepsis, etc.

Through its various principals, DSS covers technologies such as FISH, IHC, RealTime PCR based Viral Load Testing, Integrated Chromosome Profiling (ICP), MLPA, DNA Flow Technology, karyotyping, culture media etc.

This division aims to achieve high growth in the coming years by taking advantage of its prime position in the molecular testing market in India by introducing more tests for diseases which are relevant to the Indian conditions.
