Digital Learning Day
BY DSS Imagetech 28th February 2019
Digital learning is a method that integrates technology with learning which can be implemented across any areas or fields of learning. This type of learning allows the learner to grasp concepts quickly in a more efficient way. With the advent of smartphones and computers, the process of learning has evolved rapidly. E-learning, virtual lectures, educational gamification, portals containing educational resources and so on contribute to the development of digital learning. Digital Learning requires more than just the latest devices, it should be a combination of the device, digital content which provides educational resources and instructions. Technology is the tool used to bridge between the learner and the content in the most effective and efficient way. Digital learning can provide rich deep and up to date contents for the user. This method allows the learner to choose what is relevant and required for them. In short digital learning is less time consuming, place independent as it has a global reach, efficient, cost-effective and knowledge resource hub.
In the race to advanced digitization era, DSS has also moved from conventional to digitization processes in image acquisition methods with our digital cameras from Olympus, digital slide scanning systems from Precipoint M8 model and ASI scanning platforms.
